Product Description: It takes a steady hand to pluck the plastic leaves without waking the bees in the Honey Bee Tree Game. This award-winning game delights children as they try to carefully remove leaves without dislodging the resting bees, which then roll down into players' flower trays. Once all the bees have left the honey pot tree, the player with the fewest in their flower tray wins. Includes honey pot, base, tree, 32 leaves and 30 bees. For 2 to 4 players. Ages 3 years and up. Pieces are plastic. Imported.

We purchased this game for our son when he was about 3 & 1/2 years old. He loved it! He wanted to play it repeatedly. The only problem is, the set up each time is quite tedious and takes three times as long as it does to actually play the game. Since he was too little to set it up, guess who got to do it over and over and over? We conveniently lost this game when we moved.

I was looking for a toy that both my 4 and 2 year old could enjoy. It teaches the 2 year old about pulling the leaves one at a time and taking turns. Though the object of the game is to get the least amount of bees they both get disappointed when they don't get any on their turn lol. I am sure that will come with time however. The biggest downside is that the leaves can be difficult to put through for the little ones and it takes some time to put them all in. The kids can get impatient waiting ... Read More

We received this toy as a gift from Grandma and Grandpa after our son's tonsillectomy. Our son is 4 and we absolutely love playing this game. As the other reviews have mentioned, it does take awhile to set the game up, but to avoid our son becoming bored during the set up time, I let him drop the bees into the tree while I'm inserting the leaves. This keeps him busy while I'm working. He collects the bees that fall through and drops them again. Our 8 year old daughter enjoys playing this as well.

We've had this game almost a year and my 3yo son still loves it. He plays with it in different ways. Sometimes he just talks to the bees and flies them around; sometimes he puts some of the leaves in the honey pot and tries to catch the bees. We also practice counting sometimes, to see who has more bees. He doesn't understand yet that getting bees is 'bad' when you pull a leaf out, so we play to see who can get the most bees to fall down. He can put this together by himself and get quite a few leaves in. ... Read More

The honey bee tree is cute and easy enough to put together. The only difficulty is that the tree is supposed to be turned for each play of the game. Its hard to turn and pieces sometimes drop through when turning.
