Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A new Beginning
I like this movie for real it when a copy cat jason voorhees is on the prowl for revenge of this son that was axed by another wanted to be jason voorhees in a way.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Another Friday the 13th....
I don't like this movie. Except when the boy screams like a girl at the end. Pure genius.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - ONE OF THE WORST IN THE SERIES! 1 1/2 STARS!
I am writing reviews for each of the Friday the 13th, but I own the box set and the older releases of the later two. The reviews are for those editions not the newer deluxe editions.

We thought it was over, but you can't keep a good horror icon down! Jason's back....uh not really, but more of the same in the lackluster entry in the franchise.

The DVD transfer in good enough for this installment.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent addition to collection
This movie is now one of my favorite installments of the Friday the 13th legacy.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - 1.5 stars out of 4
The Bottom Line:

While I applaud the movie's willingness to try something different (*major spoiler* Jason isn't the killer in this one) the fact remains that Part V has so many things terribly wrong with it--including but not limited to terrible acting and awful writing--that I can't come close to recommending it to anyone besides diehard "Friday" fans.
