As totally avid MONK fans, my husband and I were delighted to receive this premiere episode. HOWEVER, I would have been happier to know that it was also on the SEASON ONE disc that I ordered. I HATE it when they make 'Best of', 'Premier Episode', the 'Obsessive, Compulsive Detective' etc., into separate discs and you then order or rent them and it's not the complete season. It's such a rip off.

It was a good introduction to how the whole Monk series began its successful "gig" on TV. If you're not sure if you would like the series, this video will help you decide.

Monk has a great crew and they all do a great job of portraying their characters. It's a nice mix of mystery and comedy with just the right touch of drama.

What a great series. My new son-in-law loved this series and I was thrilled that it came out on DVD. Hours of memories to relive over and over again.
