Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Meet Mike Donnelly (Chris Farley). He is one loveable, hilarious accident waiting to happen. Dedicated to helping his big brother, he turns every opportunity for votes into an embarrassing disaster. Campaign aide and super slacker Steve Dodds (David Spade) volunteers to babysit Mike. Big mistake! When Mike discovers that the incumbent governor is a crook, he dives headfirst into a whole new level of well intended destruction.

Amazon.com:
Chris Farley plays the disaster-prone brother of a gubernatorial candidate in Washington State. Though he is well meaning, the havoc he creates on the campaign trail is drawing press attention, so a snotty aide (David Spade) to the politician is dispatched to keep the big lug under control. Spade's character initially insults his charge as often as possible, but over time, the two bond and end up becoming a part of the final election push. Farley and Spade have some very funny moments, but overall the film feels rushed and poorly planned. Constant changes in character and script happen recklessly and randomly so that nothing ever really makes sense; the film keeps changing the rules by which it plays. --Tom Keogh

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The funniest movie ever
I love this movie. Probably my favorite comedy of all time. David Spade, Chris Farley, and Gary Busey are all in it. I'm a big fan of David Spade who doesn't get enough credit for the comical madness he brings to this movie and to Tommy Boy. Farley is great, but he is nowhere near as funny as when he is paired off with Spade. This movie is full of laughs and has a timeless quality to it. We always put this on or Old School when we are just kicking it around the house drinking beers.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Black Sheep
Movie was in perfect shape, arrived rapidly. Movie is sophomoric and slapstick, but you gotta love Chris Farley.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - movie

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Blu-ray: A hilarious Farley/Spade film but a blu-ray that is bare bones!
In 1996, "Saturday Night Live" comedians Chris Farley and David Spade teamed up once again for "BLACK SHEEP". With the success of "Tommy Boy" (1995), the stars joined "WAYNE'S WORLD" director Penelope Spheeris ("Little Rascals", "Beverly Hillbillies", "The Decline of Western Civilization Part II and Part III", etc.) and writer Fred Wolf ("Joe Dirt", "Without a Paddle", "Strange Wilderness", etc.).

The film was not well-received and the late film critic Gene Siskel said this film was ... Read More
