I'm sure the game is excellent. However, the company Toyzz.com billed me twice and sent used games. I am completely disappointed in my purchase. I have sent the game back. They sent me the other game I ordered "Trivial Pursuit IV" after a complaint that I did not receive my whole order. I am trying to send it back as well. However, I work during the post office hours so it has been difficult. I I don't believe the audacity of a company to send two used Trivial Pursuit games and charge $330.00 for ... Read More

My main problem with this game probably has more to do with the people with whom I have played it. It usually takes at least twice as long as it should because everyone spends too much time trying to think of an answer, particularly if you play it in teams. In that case, every question involves a five-minute discussion, starting with someone throwing out a perfectly good guess and ending when they decide to guess that first thing that was said. The first edition of Trivial Pursuit (early 80s?) was a great game that contributed to the emergence of the whole social games genre. But as a young teenager, I knew nothing about JFK's cabinet members, the rat pack, or dead movie stars, and this made the game impossibly difficult (and unbearably long). Between then and now, the questions have been modernized AND we've all gotten older and more experienced. Genus 5 is perfectly targeted at the 30ish crowd, and more playable than the original for those ... Read More

Ever time the family gets together at my mothers house for family gatherings at night we always bring out the frist Trivial Pursuit game. some of the younger people in the family had no idea so the game got rather boring for them. Until when I bought This game to play at the family get togethers. Now the whole family can play this game and no one has to sit out anymore.
