I have to admit that I have always had a soft spot for the Powerpuff Girls. I find the frequently tongue-in-cheek humour to be very witty and like most good cartoons are, this one is thoroughly entertaining for both kids and adults alike. My favourite Cartoon Network character is actually Dexter's Lab but until they release that on DVD I guess this will have to do as second best. The quality of the episodes included here varies widely. But the extra material included on the DVD makes up for that. Don't miss Craig McCracken presenting his original film school project that was the prototype for The Powerpuff Girls! I also enjoyed the show 'n tell segment: the Girls are their most engaging when they're just "being themselves".

The Mane Event... Well, Bubbles & Buttercup give Blossom a hideious stupid haircut. Everybody laughs, even the thousand eyed monster. The ending wuz funny when Blossom shaves Bubbles & Buttacup. HAHAHA! (5 stars)

I've seen this episode before. Buttercup and Bubbles mess up Blossums hair and she looks ugly. That wasn't really funny. All the other episodes here are just as stupid! Whoever created this show TRIED to make a Super-Hero adventure, but failed miserably. It's pathetic really. Avoid all PPG DVD's! They are not funny and are a waste of time. TRUST ME!
