Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Based on the direct-to-video release of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, this eponymous title is quite simply one of the worst superhero video games ever made--which means, considering how awful entries in this genre tend to be, that it's pretty darn bad.

Contrary to the futuristic theme of the Batman Beyond cartoon series, this pathetic effort is hopelessly dated in terms of gameplay--which is of the side-scrolling brawler variety--as well as graphics and sound, both of which would have been barely passable on the last generation of video game systems. And, given this relic's clumsy, unintuitive controls, even retro video game fans will have a hard time stomaching this one. --Joe Hon

Pros:
  • Features Batman Beyond characters and artwork
Cons:
  • Ridiculously dated gameplay, graphics, and sound
  • Clumsy, unintuitive controls

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - THE DOWN FALL OF ALL GAMES AS WE KNOW IT
You know before I rented this game I thought it would be the best because the cartoon was pretty cool. But it isn't, we all have our own opinion about this game so I'm going to tell you mine. It is the worst game I have EVER played I'd be lying if i said that this game was better than the first mario. It was a waste of money a waste time and a waste of effort... I just finnisyhed layingg batman a few minuter ago because i just rented it so i'm telling you now after this if you still feel that ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - not worth the money
if u wanna play this game rent it thats all

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Don't waste your money
A few words of advice: Do not buy this game. If you so badly need to play it, I suggest renting it. I had high hopes. I paid $50 for the game. $50 for an hour of mild entertainment. When I realized I had beat the game after only an hour I was highly disappointed. I'm not a big fan of fighting games (if you can even call this a fighting game), so for me to beat the game in an hour was simply amazing. Someone more into fighting games could probably beat the game in a half hour. It's that easy ... Read More
