We have 2 of these and my boys just love them. they love to play music on them (it doesnt have the best sound it is a toy instrument) and just drag them around the house. They also have started turning them upside down and standing on it like a skateboard while trying to keep their balance. They think this is so much fun and laugh at each other when they fall. I would recommend getting one for your kids.

I was worried about this toy, I have issues with the noise level. I have 4 children and another noisy toy was not on my list. My little musical girl really likes this toy, and my ears are very pleased that it isn't very loud.

I'm not terribly impressed with this xylophone. The main reason is the sound. I find it very hard to hit the keys just right to make a clear sounding note instead of a "thud". My son tries, but doesn't stick with it long since he gets poor results as well. The string is short...I'm sure this is for safety reasons, but it does make it harder to play. Both of my boys ( 2 and 4) enjoy this alot. It is heavy duty and can take their rough play.

This is a pretty decent toy. One minor tweak is that I had to cut the string holding the stick immediately because it's too hard to play with such a short string. But now she enjoys banging away at it with whatever she can get her hands on at the time.
