A band of cyborgs is terrorizing the planet. Believing that Magneto is controlling the cyborgs, the X-Men try to defeat him. You take control of Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, Iceman, and Gambit as they prepare for the battle to save the planet. Play the Story mode where you will explore nine levels of intense action that will reveal the relationship between Magneto and the cyborgs. Each stage holds a wide variety of power-ups, which can be used to help continue the fight, like superhuman jumps, flips and speed-ups, and projectile attacks. In the Fight mode, the heroes face a never-ending stream of enemies and must keep fighting until they are exhausted. Is Magneto really behind all of the cyborgs, or is something more sinister at work? Find the truth in X-MEN: Mutant Wars.

Activision has a dubious track record for making great and near excellent Spider-Man games and making poor and lacking X-Men games. Why this is is anyone's guess, and X-Men: Mutant Wars for the GameBoy Color is one of these types of games featuring everyone's favorite merry band of mutants. I concur with the other reviewers. This game is pretty fun and I like the characters. I've been using it on the GameBoy Advance and it is pretty nice.

This game is very fun to play. It has lots of levels and each character has there own special moves. It has a boss at the end of each level which is cool also. If you like X-men or action, get this game!

this game is not brilliant but can include all the action a gameboy could give....the enemies are pretty easy to kill but the bosses( some of them ) are not, especially the last boss..... includes all the x-men including one called 'iceman' which i have never heard before with all their special attacks and special moves. if your an x-men fan buy it if not don't.

good selection and all but it had lack of dificultie. If you liked the playstation version, this is half as good.
