"The Peanut Butter Solution" is a strange&disturbing kids' movie,despite it being part of the Canadian "Tales for All" series. Well, it is for English&French speakers (it was obviously made in Quebec)--but is it for the kids? Not exactly. It's strangely engrossing in its badness--plus it has Celine Dion's cinematic debut with "Listen to the magic man." Supposedly it's a metaphor for adolescence, but it's best for viewers to decide.

There is something about a lot of the tunes in the movie that will just put you in a deep trance. I had an extreme out of body experience watching this movie, which wouldn't have been possible without the music. Highly recommended for a good trip.

Like so many of you, I too remembered this movie as if it were a dream. I thought it was like an hour tv special I saw as a kid and just couldn't remember the title. I remember really enjoying it and now that I found it, even if it is on VHS, I will have to watch it again it again.
