Editorial Review:
Description: Comic wizard Bill Murray (CRADLE WILL ROCK, THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS) teams up with Academy Award(R)-winner Richard Dreyfuss teams up with (Best Actor, 1978, THE GOODBYE GIRL) in an outrageously wild comedy that's sure to drive you off the deep end! Murray plays Bob Wiley, a troubled but lovable therapy patient who fears everything! After seeking help from noted psychiatrist Dr. Leo Marvin (Dreyfuss), Bob feels revived. But when the good doctor skips town to go on a quiet family vacation, Bob, afraid of being alone, follows -- showing up unexpectedly at the therapist's lakeside retreat. That's when the fun really begins! Bob innocently becomes the houseguest who just won't leave -- endearing himself to the other family members ... and, in the end, driving the stressed-out shrink absolutely crazy!

I had to review What About Bob? because this is one of the few comedies that almost everyone related to me really seems to like. I know just about every line by heart and sometimes can't help but say them out loud before the character does.
Bill Murray is at his best here as the annoying OCD patient, but you can't help but care about this guy. Richard Dreyfuss knocks it out of the park as Dr. Leo Marvin. This is a great performance that just builds and builds until he finally snaps ... Read More

I found this on tv last night, so I thought I'd check it out. I am very glad that I watched it because it is extremely funny! Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss were awesome together. Bill plays Bob Wiley, an obsessive compulsive man who seeks Dr. Leo Marvin's help. When Dr. Marvin goes on a vacation, Bob tries to call him, but Dr. Marvin doesn't like to deal with patients at home. Bob even pretends to be a police officer in order to get Dr. Marvin's address. Bob finds him, and Dr. Marvin thinks it's ... Read More

Seller got item to me very quickly and it was brand new with the security stickers still in tact, like indicated, but there was a piece of the case missing...?

This is a much better movie than I was expecting. When someone explained the premise to me, I thought there was a potential to be good, with way too much room to go bad instead. I like Bill Murray to an extent. He has done some great flicks, like Caddyshack and Groundhog's Day. But he can go overboard sometimes like he did in Stripes. Richard Dreyfuss is a great actor, and I have not seen much from him that didn't impress me. But this plot of a psychiatrist (Dreyfuss) going on a vacation and having ... Read More
