Batman Returns is a side-scrolling action game based on the Tim Burton movie of the same name. As Batman you'll use an assortment of fighting moves and an armory of gadgets, such as a Batarang, grappling hook, and other projectile weapons. You must follow the story line of the movie and save Gotham City by stopping Penguin, Catwoman, and the Red Triangle Circus Gang. The seven stages of battles will take you to the city rooftops, the circus train, Gotham Plaza, the streets of Gotham, and the Penguin's lair, where you must fight the Penguin and his tiny, missile-launching penguins. Batman Returns is a brawler game for the SNES, much like Final Fight and Turtles in Time. You go through several stages beating up the bad guys. Some stages are 2D with minor platforming action. One stage is simulated 3D and lets you drive the Batmobile.

Batman returns, rock. This game is so awesome. This game is actually one game that you go through it like you were in the movie. I love this game. It's full of batolicious stuff and the Penguin is one tuff dude. This game is for everyone.
