I own both Spider-Man and Maximum Carnage for the Sega Genesis. After noticing that there was a missing game in my Spider-Man Genesis collection and reading a couple of the reviews (disregarding the bad ones) I decided to purchase it to complete my collection once and for all. After owning it for a few days and playing it non-stop, it got hard to say I hate it. I've played a lot of games that to this day can be considered old. Some of them have aged well thanks to their long lasting charms and innovations, but from this I've earned an experience: I have learned that if the opening music to the game is astronomically good, it's a bad game. Few games apply to this rule, but it is still present particularly in long forgotten manure fests like Deep Blue for the Turbo Grafix 16... and this game.

Took a while before I got the game, but in the end I quite enjoyed the game. Brought memories of how much I love the game back the days. I should look for more old school games.

I have a younger brother who always wants me to play a two player game. When I heard about Seperation Anxiety I thought this is the game we need because we're spidey fans. They even have my favorite lethal protecter ( a hero whom sometimes kill their foes)called Venom. If you're Spider-Man or Venom fan like me than buy this game.

My friends and i would play this all the time when i rented it. Its a beatem up, co-op (duznt get better than that!) where one player is spidey an the other is VENOM! I was always stuck being spidey but i didnt care. You beat up people like in Spiderman Venom Maximum carnage (the prequel to this game).
