I've proudly owned this cd for over a year, yet still I listen to it as if I'd just received it. I wish subsequent Pokemon BGM cd's were released for later seasons. As far as the music in the Spero scene not being included, it is, technically. Remember this is a Japanese Import soundtrack. It does not contain the American BGM that is inserted into the show at times. Having imported episode 1 from Japan, I've learned the music THEY use for that scene is Track 22-- the Main Battle Theme. This is one of those hidden gems of the Pokemon universe. I've been a fan of the dubbed anime ever since it started, and I was surprised that they never released a "score" soundtrack with the background music. Eventually, I noticed this Japanese CD, bought it immediately, and I couldn't be more happy with it! The first track is the Japanese anime opening song, which is actually pretty good, and the rest of the tracks are the background music from the anime just as they were used.

This is a very cool CD despite the money. There are 42 songs total. And a special bonus track as I'd like to call it of Poketto Ni Fantajii or Fantasy In A pocket sung by Matsumoto Rika (Ash's jap voice) and some girl. Plus it has the backgrounds to the eps and the full length tital song in jap. Also between songs , the pokÂdex says the tital of the song and a description of it. And Satoshi (Ash) and Pikachu give a "shocking" interview. Heehh Get this it is worth the bucks!!

OK... I want to but this *so I'm begging* but I've heard this before. THE ALBUM ROCKS! I saw that there were 32 BGM trax and a book with stickies. A must-buy (although I don't have it, ...)

This is a great import CD which include the opening and ending themes, as well as most of the season one background music of Pokemon (US and Japan). Most of the tracks end with a short commentary by, I'm assuming, the Japanese PokeDex. If the PokeDex gets too annoying, he can always be edited out if you have the ways and means (i.e. sound editing software).
The CD also comes with a small hardcover book about who-knows-what with pictures and what-nots, but it's a nice thing to have nonetheless. Read More
