Lost in Space fans will be delighted to know that they too can own the Robinson family's trusty robot--one of sci-fi's enduring tin-and-wheels favorites, and a granddaddy to R2D2. The assembled model stands about 7 inches high atop a rocky base platform. While the model stands motionless, an electronic ray shoots out from its right arm, and tractor tracks in the rocky base hint of other adventures. Detailed assembly directions are included, but if you want to paint your robot, you must rely on your imagination and the retro picture on the box. Use styrene-compatible glue and modeling paints for the best effect. --Richard Farr

Lost in space robot model from bkseller. This is not the original model made in the 1960's, its a reproduction made in the 1990's, but it looks like the original.

A hard to get model sometimes, I bought 3. I haven't built one yet but it is a great model, I've seen a couple at model shows years back. It's a Polar Lights model, good detail. As always, paint & glue not included.
