There's a charming simplicity in this game for little ones who dream of being a princess. Players move their pieces around the game board collecting plastic costume jewelry, such as rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. The winner of the game is the one who collects the crown and all the jewels that match their playing color. That player is the princess who now turns over the spinner to reveal a mirror into which she can gaze at her royal self. Game play includes the dreaded black ring, which no one wants but someone might get. Sticky jewels are included to decorate the jewelry box and the crown. My daughter, who aspires to be a princess, received this as a gift. It was really nice to see how excited she was when Mommy and Daddy had to put on jewelry. The earrings hurt a little (they're clip-ons and made of plastic) but otherwise I'd recommend this game. The $39 price is a bit steep....all jewelry is plastic and comes with a cardboard gameboard. Also, watch out leaving the crown around....stepping on it gives you the same feeling as walking across legos.

Our 4 1/2 year old young lady has enjoyed decorating the crown and playing this game with whoever she can get to sit down with her. (it's been surprising who will too!) I even made it a prerequisite one day that each person play at least once before they got dinner because she wanted to play so much. I found that hungry males of varying ages will "play for food" The funny part is that they all seemed to enjoy the excuse:)

this is a very cute game and the girly-girls love it. only issue i take with it is: part of object of game is to accumulate jewels that are like in color.
problem: colors are not made to look the same on matching jewels.
once your little one figures this out they will probably love collecting points in jewlery.

My four year old loves this game and it is an excellent value! First, you get to adorn a crown and mirrored jewelry box with jewels and then fill it with the supplied jewelry! Then you play the game over and over!This is a simply a must have for the little princess in your life!

Pretty Pretty Princess Dress-Up Board Game Don't buy this game. Your kids will drive you nuts. They want to play it over and over, nonstop. my granddaughter even dreams about it. the first thing out of her mouth when she wakes was I want to play pretty pretty princess. She ignores all her other toys. it was the best $5.00, I ever spent on a toy for her
