What more can I say other than Jerry Clower truly is the mouth of the south! If you are from the south, have family from the south or ever been to the south, this CD is for you! Jerry Clower's simple storytelling is heartwarming yet hilarious. Of all his CDs, this one is my favorite.

You just about have to be from Mississippi (or the surrounding areas) to really appreciate Jerry. I don't live there any more, but it sure reminds me of people that I knew. I once had a female student with the last name of Ledbetter, and she sure matches up well with the Ledbetters that Jerry describes. This is great family entertainment. No foul language, just good funny stories that probably happened.

My husband and I bought this cd for a road trip. We were going to be traveling for several days and bought this cd along with a couple other Jerry Clower cd's to help pass the time. That they did. You don't notice the hours so much when you are laughing the entire time.

Note to the Blue Collar Comedy guys: you can be funny without being dirty. Jerry Clower is a perfect example of that. Many people marvelled that he could entertain folks without resorting to four letter words. He once said that any of his albums could be played in a Sunday School class.
