I felt the writing, production, arrangements and performaces of the PF were never better than on this album. Some of their most underrated songs appear on this disc. What a gem!

This is in my view the best Partridge Family Album EVER! My parents bought this as well as several other P.F. albums for me when I was 7 yrs old and I still have this one. I am thrilled to see that it has finally come out on CD. Many songs are simply not available on any database whatsoever.
But really, between 50 - 100 dollars! I love these songs and wasn't afraid to admit it in the 80's while everyone would make pretend 'barfing' motions. When did Amazon sellers decide that this ... Read More

I can't stop raving about this music. Its great, and I don't care how old you are, good music is good music. When I first saw the family, it was after I saw the Brady Bunch, and let me tell you the harmonies in these songs.... I loved Rainmaker with that mysterious haunting sound to me at least. Summerdays is another great one with that piano opening, and then there's Echo Valley a pop music classic. Get this CD and I guarentee you won't be dissappointed!

The background singers get a tad tiring but Go David Cassidy! I don't care if it's the memories or ... Read More

This album has it's share of pleasant moments, but it's nowhere near the brilliance of Abbey Road or any other Beatles album!
Those that grew up with this music may find it nostalgic. I find it astonishing that one reviewer said this was the greatest album of the 20th century! Ever heard of Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, Elvis, Beatles, Glenn Miller, or Copland? I guess not.
