I first saw this movie many years ago after seeing countless A&C comedies. I was absolutely amazed by the incredible job that Lou Costello did as a dramatic actor in his role as a vacuum cleaner salesman working for his ruthless and self-serving boss (Bud Abbott). If you like A&C movies you MUST see this one.

Bud and Lou show that they can do more than just slapstick in this film. They work seperately in this one. Costello plays a backwoods farmboy, who goes to the big city, and becomes a door-to-door vaccum cleaner salesman. This classic shows us for the FIRST time that Lou Costello is NOT ONLY a gifted comedic actor, but also a VERY DRAMATIC one. It is a shame that his life was cut short before he could develop this characteristic trait. 5 STARS once again to this Abbott & Costello classic.
