This Fantastic Four cartoon was created in 1989 by DePatie-Freleng Studios for NBC. It was a decidedly quick and low-budget attempt to create an animated version of the FF. Even Jack Kirby's storyboards weren't enough to salvage this cartoon. This particular episode is one of the better ones of the series. Although the characters are as flat as ever, this at least granted them a little intelligence to work with. END
