I'd hate to sound boring, uninterested or lazy in any way; but there's just not very much I can say about The X-Files: Volume 3 that I haven't already said about the X-Files comics that came before it, also published by Checker Book Publishing Group. Because they're all pretty much the same when it comes to the quality or number or comics they contain, and if you read the first two and liked them (or disliked them), it's quite possible you'll like (or dislike) the third one, as well.
