This book is really all about interviews with the various cast, producers, directors and production crew of Lost. It covers only the first two seasons so there's nothing on Ben and Juliet yet. For anyone who's even a casual fan of the show, this Best Of collection of the Official Lost Magazine is chock full of swirling theories, genuinely interesting making-of tidbits, and easter eggs from the show which when pointed out to you will make you laugh out loud in anticipation for the upcoming final season. "Messages from the island" is just what doctor ordered for those who has missed all the first Lost official magazine issues. Especially for those who lives in some countries where it is impossible to buy such a magazine in the bookstore (I mean any issue, not this particular one). "Messages" cover a period of the two first seasons (which are the best ones to my mind) and provide all the best experience from the original magazines, though with superior polygraphy.
