Product Description: On August 25, 1974, along the Rio Grande River near the Texas border town of Presidio, a thunderous explosion in the sky shattered the stillness of the warm summer night. An unidentified flying disc traveling at 2,000 miles per hour collided with a small airplane heading south from El Paso, Texas. The flaming wreckage of both aircraft fell to the Mexican desert below, igniting a desperate race by two governments to recover technology from beyond the stars.

This book adds another piece to the whole UFO mystery, giving some really good detail into an occurance that, until now, hasn't gotten a lot of attention.

This book is a remarkable research project of two UFO enthusiasts. It reads like a mystery drama. The details of the historical drama that unfolds accompanies a drama of place by place journey of the two research as they collect their data. Fascinating! Well-documented. What I especially appreciated is their inclusion of information about mysterious lights in certain areas of Mexico that have been documented and become part of the culture of rural Mexico for hundreds of years. If you live in Western ... Authors Noe Torres and Ruben Uriarte have done an excellent job of gathering information about the famous 1974 incident in which an unidentified flying object landed in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Torres and Uriarte give a complete, objective analysis of the available data. They also write about their own trips and research that they have done on all Mexican UFO activity. As you will find in the book, this was not an isolated incident. Both authors were very thorough, and provide detailed information ... Read More

"Mexico's Roswell"; The Chihuahua UFO Crash by Noe Torres and Ruben Uriarte is, in my opinion, an excellent narrative that reads like a Ian Flemming, James-Bond novel, complete with all the intrigue. Noe Torres and Ruben Uriarte are good writers, and keep the reader truning one page to the next without rest or hesitation. This is especially true during the first part of the book.
Like all UFO investigations, the search leads not to a specific answer... but only more questions. I felt that the ... Read More

Firstly, let me say that I have known co-author Ruben Uriarte personally for several years and was fortunate enough to receive a copy from Mr. Uriarte shortly after release. What Noe Torres and Ruben Uriarte have done is nothing short of fantastic.
While the book only seems to touch on the far-reaching effects of this case, it is important because MEXICO'S ROSWELL finally brings to the forefront of Ufology a case that ranks with its American counterpart.
