Editorial Review:

Product Description:
The perplexing plotlines and bewildering array of characters on the Emmy and Golden Globe award–winning television program Lost are analyzed and pieced together in this in-depth exploration. Both devoted fans and new viewers can approach the upcoming season with a solid understanding of events from Seasons 1 and 2 with the insightful commentary, copious episode analysis, and thoroughly detailed sections on the links between seemingly disparate events and each character’s back story. Questions such as How do the characters’ pasts intertwine? What do the animals on the island represent? and What is the religious, historical, and spiritual significance of the infamous number sequence 4 8 15 16 23 42? are addressed as well as the importance of the many literary references on the show. Cast member biographies and never-before-seen photos are also included.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Paradise found!
While it is often difficult to gain perspective on a pop culture phenomenon, particularly in an era when an endless array of printed, video and online material is so readily accessible, the ground-breaking TV series LOST will be discussed, debated and deliberated upon for many years to come. For existing fans and the millions more who have yet to view or examine the show in detail, Nikki Stafford's FINDING LOST series is the essential guide to LOST's myriad characters, multi-layered plot lines and ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - "Find" all the Finding Lost books
I own all of the Finding Lost books. They have helped me rediscover a series that I was already in love with. The books are structured so that you don't necessarily have to rewatch episodes but it certainly enhances the experience. My favorite part of the books is the exploration of non-fiction aspects of the show. There is an analysis of the real John Locke and how his ideas fit into the show.

If you are a fan, or know a fan, buy these books!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Enlightening and entertaining
I was a casual Lost viewer, loving the show, but missing a lot of the connections and details and feeling like there was so much more. I happened to pick up Nikki Stafford's book and it was one of the best things I could have done.

Nikki gives such detailed analysis of the episodes while still keeping it light and fun. The sidebars are fascinating and the cast bios interesting.

Reading this book raised my enjoyment of Lost to a whole new level and turned me into the rabid Lost ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A must for all fans of Lost.
Reviewer: Al Forlizzi This is a great companion book for a great television show. After reading some of the keen insights and observations, I was able to look at Lost with different eyes. I now see more of what is going on, and I'm able to enjoy Lost on a whole different level. I highly recommend this book to anyone who watches or plans to watch this great show.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Book and Series
I love this show, its the best on TV. I've also found this book to be very good also. Now I'm going back and watching all the seasons over to find secrets and clues that I may have missed.

One of the things LOST introduced me to was the Twilight Zone which J.J. Abrams was inspired. Besides this book, I recommend one other also on Amazon.com. THE TWILIGHT ZONE: Unlocking the Door to a Television Classic by Martin Grams. Together, both books open the skies for cult television.
