My 3.5 yr old has this and he and I love it. I always sit down with my children to play with them anyway, so I enjoy having to show them how to play with their toys. I didn't have the problem with the drawer, like the other review said. The scanner works on ours just fine. Overall, my child loves it. I would recommend this. I even gave one to my niece for her 6th birthday!

I gave this toy to my 3 year old granddaughter for her birthday. These are comments from her mother.
"It works, but it is really poor quality and it is just not "kid friendly" at all. She has to have me with her to get it to do any talking, and the cash register drawer which allows it to talk is already broken after only a few times of playing with it. I would not recommend it.
