Aquaman made his initial appearance in DCs' More Fun Comics #73, cover dated November 1941 ( Green Arrow debuted in the same issue) during what is referred to as the Golden Age of Comics. Aquaman gets no respect! This poor guy has gone through a half dozen incarnations in recent DC comics' retcon's and I fear they still haven't settled on an interpretation that will last the ages. Here however we have the character as most remember him. Admittedly he is a little more than one note. Many of the silver age DC stories are rather sterile and puerile and these are no exception.
