This book is a must for those who could not collect all of the Worlds at War books separately, and those enjoy cosmic type villains who give the heroes a run for their money should collect this collection of fine tales.

The story is virtually non-existent. This book is just a collection of ultra-violent scenes strung together to make up a razor-thin plotline, and not much else. The one thing that this volume does have, however, is some absolutely amazing artwork, though strangely enough a lot of it seems homoerotic.

I gave it three stars for its large size. I would have given it two stars if it were smaller. There are many writers involved in this, and it is sometimes confusing and hard to follow. The potential for this story was great, but the pieces didn't seem to fit together quite right. I'm having trouble figuring out why Superman cannot just destroy Imperiex or War World by carrying either off to a far away star.

There is nothing worse in a superhero comic than bad artwork. This volume is ruined by childish, cartoony art. What ever happened to Neil Adams? This stuff is garbage. This was a nice long read and it keeps you wanting to read for the most part. There are some really good parts and only one part which was horrible and could be removed from the book and not effect it at all. The Sgt. Rock was one of the better parts as was Krypto's brief chapter in the story. A good read and worth the money plenty of pages in this thing.
