This book is a collection of simple questions about film school and then a list of answers in quotations. It is very hard to read and not very insightful. Simply put, there is not a lot of information here that anyone considering applying to film school doesn't already know.

This book is a collection of comments by film-school grads. It feels very much like a blog, but doesn't have the advantage of being online and thus searchable. As a result, one is dependent on the indexing to find quotes related to a particular school, for example. The indexes are not comprehensive, so finding material is difficult. That said, the quotes in general are useful for the most part (some are general).

The book is a collection of answers to some generic questions. The answers are all over them map, so there is really no insight provided. Pick an answer and someone espouses that point of view. A waste of money.

I'm about to graduate from the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television. This book offers helpful insight into the world of applying and succeeding at film school. It's written by those who have walked that path before.

This book is so helpful - it helped me with my decision on whether to try to get in film school or not! It swayed me to go ahead and apply for film schools and then shows me how to succeed in school. It also tells me how to get into the film industry after school and how to succeed in the industry! All of the contributors helped me so much...you need to read this if you are considering the film industry as your career!
