tony and me by jack klugman was a pleasure to read. i loved the odd couple when i was a kid and still enjoy it today. the thing i enjoyed most about it however was the personal insight into jack klugman. it was interesting to read about his life as a young man and how he became an actor. he wrote to honor his friendship with tony randall, but he also showed himself to be a kind and caring person.

This is a great book if you watched the Odd couple and loved it like I did. You will really enjoy the story of friendship. It made me laugh and cry and I read it all in an hour and a half!

Jack Klugman attempts to write of his relationship with Tony Randall, but comes up with few anecdotes and reveals little of what went on behind the scenes. It is filled with superlatives about not only Randall but about Klugman himself, where he takes credit for much of the success of The Odd Couple. He alludes to events that he never explains and doesn't go into any depth about people mentioned other than Randall.

The book originally arrived in just 2-3 days in excellent condition, but the DVD would not play. I returned both and received the replacement within a few days. The book tells a wonderful story, I loved every bit of it. I wish the DVD was longer, but I guess it was nice of Paramount Studios to donate the footage. All in all I highly recommend this.
