This is one of the best books I have read on this subject! It is funny and heartwarming at the same time. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

It wasn't quite what I expected but it is a very easy and understandable read. There are some hints for things to try and it may work for some. It is a story about one persons trials and sufferings from a very invisible illness. The second thing it did for me is helped be get over some depression and made me feel better about myself. I found me on just about every page in this book, and you know what? I'm okay. This book is very validating and sometimes we need that. I'm glad the author took the time and ENERGY (of which we usually have a crisis) and brought this book together. We can look at ourselves and others with this affliction with understanding and mostly, compassion. This book helped me to explain myself when dealing with people that do not understand my fibro. It was helpful to me, and others around me. She explains things in terms that are easy to understand. Great book, would recommend to anyone that needs help in explain their disability.

I bought "Parting the Fog" about 2-1/2 years ago along with about 15 other books on Fibro and found this book to be the absolute best! I was able to understand what I was reading unlike the other books that only doctors would be able to understand. The poems touched my heart and I could totally relate to almost each one of them in some way!
