This was my first "Roswell" type book. I bought it on the Kindle2 as it seemed interesting. The basic premise is good, but the suspension of belief is a bit much--even for a sci-fi novel. The writer would have done well to have let someone read it prior to publishing with a military background. The idea that the US, Russia, and Japan would invade Canada with military forces is ridiculous.

This was a fun read, and hard to put down. the story itself was also very entertaining. i would have given it 3.5 stars if Amazon supported that - but since i had to choose either 3 or 4, i think 3 is where this ends up - mainly due to the writing style (which is distracting rather than immersive) and the one-dimensional charcters. Still - its a good book, and I hope Mr. Burd writes more.

This book would make an excellent movie! It was action packed and full of suspense from beginning to end. I could not put the book down - I highly recommend it!

The whole reason for my deciding to purchase this novel was the idea it represented, in what would happen if an alien craft were to crash land on our planet in current modern day times. It started out well but quickly turned annoying, then downright bad, and I am now loath to finish it (my Kindle informs me I am at 82%).

A PLEASANT SURPRISE!
I like Star Trek and the Star Wars movies, so when this book caught my attention I gave it a try. I'm glad I did! From start to finish this book was a blast. Much better than I expected. A spaceship crashes to Earth and from there on it never gets boring. It was a very fast, very fun read that I liked so much I bought the paperback version for a friend. I highly recommend it!
