Product Description: This is the inside story of The Brady Bunch as only Barry Williams could tell it! In this updated Collector's Edition are updated information and numerous never-before-seen photos of this classic American TV show and its stars.
Think you know everything about Greg, Peter, Bobby, Marcia, Jan, Cindy, Mike, Carol, Alice-- and the people who played them? Think again! From drunken golf-cart races across the Paramount lot to make-out sessions in Tiger's doghouse, Barry tells the real Brady story, previously hidden behind the carefully-groomed facade of TV's favorite family. In 31 anecdote-packed chapters, Barry Williams takes readers from the beginnings of the show through its wildly successful run, and on through all the Brady Bunch reunions, wrapping up with a facscinating chapter on "Whatever Happened to..."
Also included in this pop culture classic is a play-by-play of every Brady Bunch episode, making Growing Up Brady the ultimate Brady Bunch collectible--as well as a delcious slice of Hollywood gossip.
The Bradys remain one of America's most loved and admired TV families. From 1969 through 1974, The Brady Bunch aired every Friday night on ABC. The show reamins one of TV's highest-rated shows, reaching 72 million viewers during its two evening repeats on Nick at Nite.

I READ THIS BOOK YEARS AGO. BACK IN THE "90'S" WHEN I READ "BRANDYMANIA" I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT YEAR THIS BOOK WAS PUBLISHED BUT IT WAS PROBABLY ABOUT 20 YEARS AFTER THE BRADY BUNCH WENT INTO SYNDICATION. AS I HAVE MENTIONED ELSEWHERE, I SAW THE MOVIE ABOUT THIS BOOK. BOTH WERE EXCELLENT. OF COURSE THE MOVIE DID NOT BEGIN TO BE HALF AS GOOD AS THE BOOK. IT WAS SO STRAIGHT FORWARD AND VERY DETAILED. I THINK I WAS ABOUT 13 WHEN I DISCOVERED THE BRADY BUNCH. I DIDN'T THINK OR HAVE A CLUE THAT I WOULD ... Read More

Greg Williams really tells the story. What fun it was to read about our favorite Brady's.

Mr Williams, who has been a fairly regular guest on Australian talk shows over the years, emerges as an affable guy , and talented story-teller, and commendably devoid of any streak of nastiness or bitterness at all. I did not count one bitchy or mean remark about any cast-member. We gain the first more detailed insights into the possibly tragic Robert Reed, who also writes an other than run of the mill rambling foreword chapter for Barry and the show. Robert followed the pattern of his cerebral ... Read More

Book was interesting, filled with little snips of what it was like behind the scenes. I was looking for a little more depth. The last third of the book turned out to be details about each episode, rather dry. I only read a couple of them before I was bored.

BARRY WILLIAMS DOES A REALLY GOOD JOB TELLING WHAT IT WAS LIKE BEING ON THE BRADY BUNCH, ONE OF THE BETTER KNOWN FAMILY SITCOMS FROM THE 70'S. THE SHOW WAS CORNY, GOODY 2 SHOES AND UNREALISTIC. BUT STILL HAD A NICE HOMEY AND WHOLESOME TOUCH TO IT. I DID WATCH THE SHOW OFF AND ON, BUT MOSTLY TO SEE HOW HOT MAUREEN MCCORMICK AND EVE PLUMB LOOKED. BARRY WILLIAMS REALLY BRINGS BACK SOME GREAT MEMORIES AS HE TELLS US SOME GREAT STORIES THAT WENT ON ON CAMERA AND OFF CAMERA. THE MOST INTERESTING WERE, HIS ... Read More
