I am currently hard at work on my Private Pilot Certificate and immersed in ground school. I purchased this Machado book (and his IFR book) and agree with everyone else that it is an excellent reference, very detailed and well organized. But I also found, like many of the other reviewers, that the "humor" was a little overboard. Rod's writing style and the illustrations I found to be a little irritating.
