As a fan of The Honeymooners, I was excited to begin reading this book, but as I began, I realized that it was not exactly was I expected it to be. The book reads like a PhD candidate's dissertation. It includes a great deal of academic jargon, and lines that include, "In this chapter I will..." or "As I previously argued..."
Some parts are enjoyable, especially when the author compares Ralph and Alice and contrasts The Kramdens and The Nortons. It also includes some interesting tidbits, and ... Read More
