Great fun loving AIP beach musical from the mid-sixties is still a hoot to watch after all these years. No brain teaser here; just light plot, great looking chicks (especially Susan Hart) & some real cool sounding songs (especially from the Nooney Rickett 4). Is it possible to get the original music from this film? Of course, not to forget Annette & Tommy (Frankie had a cameo in this one). "Pajama Party" is my absolute favorite of the beach party movies. To me, it has the best production values, music and choreography. I can watch the musical numbers over and over again. The whole movie down to the choreography (they used David Winters who did Hullabaloo) is just so much better and more professional. Here are my favorite sequences:

_Pajama Party_ is the 4th entry in the "beach movie" series. _Pajama Party_ has it all: Throwaway songs, forgettable dialogue, poor dubbing, lousy twist music, ridiculous plot and plenty of semi-nude gyrating bodies. Maybe it's the old, familiar Disney characters, such as Elsa Lanchester and Tommy Kirk, in combination ... Read More

Most of the beach party movies were awesome--- Beach Party, Muscle Beach Party, Bikini Beach, Beach Blanket Bingo, even How to Stuff a Wild Bikini. However, this one was just random...
Annette was Dee Dee in all the others--- in this, she was Connie. Frankie barely got a part at all, and she was dating Jody McCrea; as Big Lunk, no less--- not even the loveable DeadHead. And, then Tommy Kirk. Now, I love Tommy Kirk, and I even loved he and Annette together in the Merlin Jones flicks. However... this ... Read More
