Jeph Loeb made me feel like I was Peter Parker in this novel. I felt like I was the one having the heartache between Mary Jane and Gwen. This is a more intellectual approach at how Spider-man handles the tragedy of Gwen Stacy, and we all needed it. Don't come into this expecting awesome brawls with baddies, because they really are mostly used as props. Gwen Stacy is the real center of this story.

Spider-Man Blue is one of those stories that are considered classics in the comic book world. But what's great about it is that you really don't have to be a comic book fan to enjoy this story. The reason being is that the story takes place in Spider-Man's early days as a hero, and Spider-Man and his villians are almost the background to the story.
