...and the sum of the parts is actually better than the individual books. By their very nature, "Wolverine: Origins" and "X-Men: Legacy" are doomed to cover (or un-cover?) old ground.
This isn't to disparage the creative teams on either title--Mike Carey, especially, is one hell of a writer. It's just that there's very little forward progress. Every step forward takes us 10 steps into the past.
