Loved most of the novel and the twist on cable. But man did one twist really make me go "What the ****" But still an enjoyable volume, good art, ok dialog, could be better but it had a good story so it's forgiven.

This volume is packed with action from the start to the finish. It starts off with the introduction of Cable to the Ultimate Universe, as he busts into Xavier's looking to kidnap someone. In the course of the battle, a big surprise is revealed that will change the course of the X-men. Overall, I felt that the story was exciting, and the pace of the action kept the book lively. ... Read More

The Scott and Jean conection was only shoe-horned in several ... Read More

The twist on ultimate cable is one that no one will see coming and the ending could potentially, if developed properly, lead to very interesting story lines in the future. The book itself is a decent read but nothing that is truly ground breaking or innovative. If you have been reading the ... Read More
