Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Join new creative team Angel Medina (Spawn) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (MK 4, Nightcrawler) as they take everyone's favorite wall-crawler on a blood-curdling journey into the heart of darkness. Strange changes are coming over Spidey's animalistic foes - including Dr. Curt Connors, John Jameson and Felicia Hardy - awakening the beast that dwells within them all. Sure, Spidey's beaten the Lizard, Man-Wolf and the Black Cat before, but they've never been more vicious than they are now! Collects Sensational Spider-Man #23-27.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - animalistic
Spider-Man is a great character. He's everyman, though he does have super powers. In this collection, the animal takes over in several of Spidey's regulars. It is somewhat weak in plot, but great in art and action.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Spiderman and everyone else is going crazy
The storyline in this series is very interesting. Its a small puzzle but one that makes spiderman think and try to peice together whats going on. I like all the cameo's from different villians and the strange behaviour. The fight scenes are well done and very graphic. A very good read!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Animal Fight
In this book you will find the the biggest animal fight, this story tells about strange behavior in all the animals in New York, but the problem begins with some of the spidey's foes, the lizard, black cat, vulture etc. go crazy and they can't control their rage, even spiderman get influenced by this crazyness. The art is very strong and really gooood, if you think you enjoy a good spiderman story, this is the one.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Not "Feral" Enough...
I really didn't like this series. Throughout the story, many times I felt the story was rushed and then slowed down. The story itself wasn't even exciting. I mean, come on, a scientist (not going to mention who) discovers a rock that literally brings out the "beast" in people. The art wasn't even up to par either. The art style was way TOO exaggerated that I didn't even recognize any of the characters (except for the Lizard and Vermin). If you're not a die-hard fan of comic books, stay clear ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Despite One Problem, It's Still Among The Very Best Spidey Stories In Quite A While
Reprinting Nos. 23 - 27 of the current Sensational Spider-Man ongoing, "Feral" kicks the new creative team's run off with a bang in a riveting, action-packed and character-strong arc that reminds me of the very best Spider-Man stories from the late 80s through the mid 90s. It's one of the best Spider-Man stories of recent years (and one of the last stories to take place before the major changes in the great, Marvel Universe-wide "Civil War" crossover) and could have grabbed a five-star rating if ...
