Product Description: What's worse than one mayhem-producing symbiote? Two. What's worse than that? Three. That's right: Venom's offspring, Carnage, is about to have a baby itself - a creature of indescribable power and appetites. Question is, who's gonna bring up baby? Quick - someone call Spider-Man! Ok, so there really isn't much Venom vs Carnage in this, well at least not them fighting physically like you were probably hoping. But never the less, the story to this is really a great read. And a new symbiote lifeform is born, "Toxin." He's the baby of Carnage. Venom really isn't in this a whole lot. Which I found a little disappointing because he was the reason I bought this. Great series featuring, Black cat, Spidey, Venom, Carnage and Toxin. Worth a look for any spider-man or venom fan.

This comic introduces Toxin into the comic world as how he came around and who the father is of the symbiote. Very good reading! If you are a fan of the villans in Spider-Man you will love this book.

I don't know how an author could reasonably write a carnage/venom story and not have at least looked at Carnage's biggest story arc.
Also, the whole Carnage having a spawn, and Venom's reaction to it seem kind of off. I mean, Kassady's ... Read More
