This book gave me an excellent source of information on the game and has made me a better player. Anyone that enjoys this game and wants to improve should definetely read this strategy book on AOE.

I read this book cover-to-cover... not one darn thing that i hadnt gotten from mrgrinch.com . And that site is free. My advice would be to visit a few websites and read the help file... this book is only for beginners .

I glanced through this book several times at the local bookstores since it was the only one I was able to find of the first three coming out. After reading the reviews for the Microsoft book, I think this one suffers the same problem: it's geared towards the scenarios and not the real point of the game (in my opinion) which is its great multiplayer play.
