Product Description:
For seven tumultuous years, the U.S.S. Voyager has explored the Delta Quadrant, encountering strange alien civilizations and bizarre space-time anomalies as it steadfastly made its way back toward the safety of Federation space. Captain Kathryn Janeway and her heroic crew have faced all manner of harrowing danger and hostile life-forms -- including the Kazons, the Borg, and the Q -- while never losing sight of their ultimate goal: home. Now, at last, Voyager's epic trek may be nearing its end...
After so many perilous and astounding adventures, will Captain Janeway finally bring her wayward starship back to the Alpha Quadrant? And what will become of her diverse yet tightly knit crew? Will Chakotay, B'Elanna Torres, and the other former Maquis freedom fighters face long-delayed justice for their crimes against the Federation? And is there any place in Starfleet for the uniquely independent Borg known as Seven of Nine?
As the ultimate destiny of Voyager is revealed, all that is certain is that nothing will ever be the same!

Although the book was used, it arrived in very good condition with the exception of a black mark on the top of the book. It was also delivered very quickly without any hassle. I was not too please with how the book novelized the episode. It at times seemed like the characters were developed differently than most of the other novels and episodes.

Over the years, Diane Carey has been chosen for several episode novelizations and done and excellent job with each one of them. Her novelization of "Endgame" is no exception to this. She deftly handles all of the scenes with perfection while adding depth and emotions to each scene that cannot be seen on screen while at the same time, extrapolating quite well on what we did not see in the episode.
The Premise:

And it really is like that. While I agree that this book doesn't bring thrilling new depths of character or plot into the original story, I don't think it needs to. It's a great translation of what was seen on TV and adds just enough to keep it interesting and fresh.
The characterization and plot are spot on, keeping to what you've come to know and love, but adding enough additional detail to make this a good read. If you enjoyed watching "Voyager" on TV, then you'll like this book even ... Read More

I thought this book was just as good as the television episode. It gave you a better perspective on Janeway and what was going through her head at the time of the Borg Queen's death. I would highly recommend this book to any Star Trek Fan!

First off, I will tell you that I am a big Star Trek Fan. I have seen every episode of TNG and DS9 and just about every episode of Voyager (with the exception of Endgame). I was out of the country when it came on and I have never caught it in syndication. Thus, Endgame was an important book for me. I purchased the Ebook from Amazon and read it in less than 1 day.
The book starts out 26 years from Voyager's being catapulted by the Caretaker from the Alpha Quadrant. "Admiral" Janeway ... Read More
