If you want a book with a fight that ends due to some great strategy get "In Darkest Night". This one uses an obvious strategy that really wouldn't work. And even if it did work, the enemy still wouldn't be down for the count. But I'm a collector of this series so I'm still glad I got this book.

I bought this book along with the Hawkgirl figurine(hard to find!) for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is crazy over Hawkgirl and doesn't like reading much. But she blew through this book in 2 days! She loved it and it has a place of honor on her night-table! Explains the origins of the character of Hawkgirl and how she is involved with the other characters. Amber says it is GREAT!

If you like the animated Justice League on TV you will enjoy this book. I could not put it down. When the Justice League heros are knocked out of action one by one only Hawkgirl is left to figure out what is going. Excellent story and a fun easy read. I recommend the entire series of these books...they are fast paced and full of action...
