What can I add to the story of Winnie the Pooh? I get the pleasure of reading it to my two Granddaughters and watch their faces as the words come alive in their minds. At first they look for the pictures and then my voice paints the pictures.... pure pleasure for them and for Granddad.

My five year old girl wants to hear it read every night and it's one book I don't mind reading over and over. If you read slow, this is not the book for you to read to your child because it could make bedtime drag on, but if you are a fast reader and enjoy reading, this is a children's book that is fun to read. Beautiful edition with full color illustrations. The end pages are adorned with an adorable map of the 100 Acre Wood, and the print is large and clear. The book is well bound and includes a satin ribbon book mark. The dust jacket is lovely, but if little hands make short work of it, no worries - the illustrations on the hardcover front and back are very cute on their own.

The book is a wonderful edition Of A.A. Milnes Winnie-The-Pooh. The soft Artwork on the cover & book jacket with window box, captures the tender sweetness of the story & characters within.
It's true that the pages are a soft buttery yellow. I would have preferred cream myself, however it didn't detract from my enjoyment at all. It was well done & perfect in everyway.
