Amazon.com Review:
Product Description
It was eighty years ago, on the publication of The House at Pooh Corner, when Christopher Robin said good-bye to Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. Now they are all back in new adventures, for the first time approved by the Trustees of the Pooh Properties. This is a companion volume that truly captures the style of A. A. Milne-a worthy sequel to The House at Pooh Corner and Winnie-the-Pooh.

About the Author
David Benedictus produced the audio adaptations of Winnie-the-Pooh, starring Dame Judi Dench. He lives in London, England.

Mark Burgess has previously illustrated Winnie-the-Pooh and other classic children’s characters, including Paddington Bear. He lives in London, England.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Really not so bad
Of course everyone is looking rather sternly down their noses at this brash attempt to replicate the beloved A.A. Milne's stories and E.H. Shepard's illustrations, but it really is not bad at all. The stories are sweet and simple and ramble a bit as they should. The illustrations are adorable with the characters for the most part looking just like they did (esp Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit). The drawings are paler and simpler, with less of Shepard's dark strokes, than those in my very colorful ...

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - New vs. old
I liked the book, it's a good pickup from where the old ones left off. The language is different, but you can see the A.A. Milne influence. I didn't mind the introduction of a new chracter. If your a fan of Winnie the Pooh, give this one a read!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Return to Hundred Acre Wood
I loved listening to this book, however those of you who listened to Jim Dale read the Harry Potter series may have a hard time picturing Pooh characters because many of the voices are "Potter" character voices. Otherwise, it was wonderful listening.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - pathetic knock-off
Unfortunately, I hate to add to a long list of negative reviews. However, I felt it was necessary to inform the public about the atrocity of this book.

Because the publishers destroyed the image the precious characters, that we have all grown to love, I wouldn't be surprised if Disney ends up suing them. They should have used Shepard's drawings. The illustrations look as if they were drawn with a sharpie and lack charm and creativity.

Do yourself a favor and stick to the ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL! RAMBLING, DULL PARODY AND ROTTEN!
This is what happens when corporate greed, lawyers and business
men, with no creativity or sensitivity, are permitted to trash a beloved world treasure.

At least this book will be soon forgotten and Milne's classic will be long loved and remembered.
Look for yourself at the pages published on Amazon and then forget that it exists.
Buy the original --not this amateurish fake.

When Milne wrote his first words for Pooh he was inspired by the love and
