Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Called the "Great Pathfinder," Daniel Boone is most famous for opening up the West to settlers through Kentucky. A symbol of America’s pioneering spirit, Boone was a skilled outdoorsman and an avid reader, although he never attended school. Sydelle Kramer skillfully recounts Boone’s many adventures, such as the day he rescued his own daughter from kidnappers.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Who was Daniel Boone?

I would urge teachers and librarians to use this book with their students. In2Books is a top notch organization that helps kids immensely and is so much fun. Check it out!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great for reluctant readers!
My daughter (age 10) is a reluctant reader. I have a hard time getting her to read anything. She LOVED this book! She wouldn't put it down until she was finished! I think the illustrations really held her attention. I will definately be getting other books in this series!
