Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Complete Directory to Prime Time Network and Cable TV Shows
Totaly outdate. It states coverage from 1946 to PRESENT. Turns out it only covers up to 2002, 6 years behind times. No coverage of all the programs up to at least 2008, so it is virtually useless. How about advertising the "actual" years of coverage so as not to mislead the buyer.
I have had no useage of the product since I purchased it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A fun reference to keep by the TV
Although this is a great directory to refer to while you are watching TV, it also is fun to thumb through - so many great shows over the years. Very informative and wonderful for trivia buffs.

This volume covers the history of television from its infancy to recent years. The book begins with a short essay on the history of television.

Most of the book is devoted to synposes of prime time television shows that were on for at least four weeks from the 1940s up through recent years. For each show, the cast is listed, and the dates of first and last telecast are given. The book lists the networks that shows appeared on and even lists the time slots each show appeared in during its life. ... Read More
