Another poor book of the poorly written and lame Legacy of the Force series. Worse series by far of the Star Wars adult books! Characters are inconsistent, there is no real hero or strong values potrayed. The Jedi in this series are unrealistic and for the most part either arrogant or vey weak and indecisive. The Legacy of the Force series is one of the most poorly conceived series to come out of the Expanded Universe, however once again Karen Traviss is able to rise above the inherent ludicrousness of the series to provide a strong volume that is fun and interesting. Jacen's fall continues, his actions continue to be out of character as do Tahiri's, but regardless the true strength of this novel comes from the segments on the Mandalorians, specifically if you have read Traviss' Republic Commando novels. Revelation is a tale of a avenger seeking to set right the wrongs of her brother. Only death can salve this conflict and the noble light saber will carry out the task. Many key players drew me into this novel from, Pellaon's ancient yet conventional wisdom and the way the other characters reflect on each other's ambition.
