Editorial Review:
Product Description: Garfield’s not just surviving, he’s thriving. The always fashionable fat cat has evolved over the years, but one thing hasn’t changed — his voracious appetite for food and fun. That’s what makes this all-new smorgasboard of comics a natural selection for hungry fans of the world’s most famished feline.

Yes, I'm a Garfield fan, and I have never once been disappointed by a Garfield book. Not once, ever.
I like the new "full-color format" which (strangely enough) fits better on my shelves than the old "Garfield format" versions. I may have to get the full-color Fat Cat 3-pack with the first 3 books, just to see what I was missing.
I absolutely love the Garfield outtakes. Jim Davis, if you're listening, put more of these in the next books, or do an entire book on these ... Read More

This is a good Garfield read, and the cartooning is great. But, the only problemm is, the jokes ain't that funny, and I do have to agree with... emergency chick 67(???) that the jokes are running a bit dry. The only "laughs" I got were a few chuckles, and the series is running a bit low on funniness. All in all, I'll give this book four stars, but I'm a bit anxious about the strips in the next book, Older and Wider...

Okay, I think this is a funny book, but a let-down compared to some of Jim Davis's earlier books. In spite of this, it is still funny, and still gets 5 stars.
I like the comics dealing with Mrs. Feeny, and the ones dealing with Jon's Mom. I would like to see what Mrs. Feeny actually looks like, however.
Still funny, still entertaining, and cat's do not live to their 20's but it is a COMIC STRIP. A very good one compared to some of the unfunny crap in newspapers these ... Read More

This is a coming of age tale stupped in the lesser known nuances of the Comumbian drug cartel. Garfield grows older and wiser as he unabashedly experiments with mind expanding drugs. Plus there's a ton of nudity.

I can never get enough of Garfield's sarcastic humor, so I love to sit down with a book like this and read six months of strips in one single sitting.
This, his 40th book, covers the strips from June-December of 2001 with a few outrageous outtakes in which you won't recognize Garfield before he took on his present form.
My favorites are always the ones with Nermal, but his neighbor Mrs. Feeny also gets her share of torture from the tubby tabby and his antics with Jon and Odie ... Read More
